Thea received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from West Coast University, Center for Graduate Studies in Los Angeles, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. Her interest in working with children began through early volunteer experiences and grew through hands-on roles as a behavior technician and teacher’s aide, ultimately inspiring her to pursue a career in occupational therapy.
During her didactic training, Thea gained experience working across the lifespan, but her passion for pediatrics was reaffirmed during her Level II Fieldwork and Doctoral Capstone at Uplift Therapy Center. There, she developed a strong clinical interest in pediatric feeding therapy and dedicated her capstone project to creating a comprehensive feeding resource for occupational therapy students, designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and clinical practice.
Guided by client-centered and evidence-based practice, Thea approaches each session with intention and creativity, fostering confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday routines.
In her free time, Thea enjoys going to the beach, traveling, exploring new matcha spots, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
