Occupational Therapy

Uplift Therapy Center works diligently to help parents, children, and families through evidence-based and effective pediatric occupational therapy practice. As a parent it may be challenging to have a pediatrician, counselor, or other professional refer your child for additional support services, but we are here to help and support you and your child. If you are not sure whether your child would benefit from occupational therapy services, give us a call to schedule a free consultation.

What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy?

At Uplift Therapy Center, pediatric occupational therapy focuses on helping children build life skills, engage meaningfully with their peers, have a better quality of life, and participate fully in everyday activities. Occupational therapy helps children with physical, sensory, and cognitive impairments to improve or expand their abilities, learn new skills, and to process and respond to sensory stimulus effectively.

The skills they learn with our occupational therapists will stay with your child into their future.

Children work with one of our skilled occupational therapists to develop skills and enhance their abilities in a range of daily activities. Our services range from helping infants and toddlers achieve their developmental milestones to helping teens with emotional regulation. Occupational therapy builds life skills for children to thrive at school, in the home, and during social interactions.
